Bastard!!

Synopsis

Long ago, civilization collapsed at the hands of the god of destruction Anthrasax and the evil gods, born of “science”, the power of man.

The few who survived this disaster, the Great Destruction, took up the power of a new civilization, “magic”, and entered an age of blood, flesh, steel and sorcery.

Four hundred years went by. Dark Schneider (D.S from here on), the wizard of explosive flames, wielded immense power and led the Four Lords of Havoc and an army of darkness in a war of conquest across the continent.

Commanding many golems, he fought the great kingdoms and the Five Heroes for years, until he and the dragon prince Lars Ul, who had become the legendary Dragon Warrior, struck each other down, and he was destroyed (the Golem War).

But in that moment D.S secretly used the art of reincarnation and was reborn inside a baby.

Before he could awaken, Geo Noto Soto, one of the Five Heroes, sealed him, and he came to live a life far from any conflict as Lucien Renlen, beside Geo’s daughter Yoko.

Fifteen years after the Golem War, the Four Lords of Havoc, once D.S’s own followers, began to invade the four kingdoms of the continent. The invasion brought down the kingdom of Judas, the strongest of them all, and closed in on the kingdom of Metallicana, where Tia Noto Yoko and her people live.

To stand against it, Yoko uses the magic her father Geo taught her and revives D.S, who sleeps inside Lucien.

The revived D.S declares that he will conquer the world, his own desire, but, with Yoko’s scolding too, he grudgingly fights the invaders.

The story goes up to the middle of the Dark Rebel Army arc and ends where the revived D.S drives off Abigail, who attacks earlier than in the original.
